LED Light Therapy

Low Level Light Therapy

Also known as LED technology has become highly popular in esthetics and body care. Safe and painless, LED (Light Emitting Diode) therapy is the preferred method whether to relieve pain in case of muscle injuries, or to improve skin imperfections.

LED light-based therapy is gentle yet highly effective for a variety of conditions such as, mild to moderate acne, post-surgical scar healing, alopecia/thinning hair, muscle stiffness and pain management, wrinkles, elastosis, and rosacea. With an ingenious design of individual light panels hinged together, the Soli-Lite is able to reach wide surfaces as well as frame specific areas.

Using photobiostimulation, specific wavelengths penetrate different depths to stimulate the cells within your skin, enhancing the natural healing and pain relief process. Clients notice immediate results after their first session, and even more results after two to three days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does It Hurt?

Absolutely not! Unlike a Laser this treatment does not actually touch the skin.  Its known as a "cool" (temperature) laser, as it will not burn you.  Some clients have described the sensation as feeling like you are laying on the beach with the sun warming your face.

How Many Treatments?

The difference between LLLT and a IPL/Laser is that you need more treatment sessions closer together.  LLLT treatments are scheduled roughly 3-4 days apart (twice a week) in a series of 8-12 treatments.  Although you may have to go more frequently, your results will be seen quicker.  Touch up treatments are suggested once every 4-6 months or as required.

How Does It Treat So Many Different Issues?

It's the beauty of different wavelengths! Blue Light treats acne, Red Light targets anti aging, skin rejuvenation & promotes healing, while Yellow & Near Infrared Light promotes pain management, post surgical healing, reduces swelling & inflammation.  Each wavelength penetrates a differnt depth on our skin, working on different issues one may have.  Clients have said that the Blue Light completely dried up their acne (this is because it targets the P. Acne bacteria in the pores, and kills it).  Clients have described the Near Infrared Light as relieving their pain almost instantly! (This is because the light temporarily increases the blood flow in the treatment area to help reduce inflammation).
